Several years ago while living in Europe, I purposely visited Auschwitz near Krakow, Poland. While difficult to experience, it was on my must-see places to visit as one of the sites where the unimaginable happened. I share these photographs, taken before I became an avid photographer, for those unable to visit Auschwitz or those who want to remember what happened here.
